Подборка околотанковой статистики

Из книги Стивена Залоги Armored Champion: The Top Tanks of World War II (2015)

19. Fritz Hahn, Waffen und Geheimwaffen des deutschen Heeres 1933–1945 Band 2 (Koblenz: Bernard & Graefe, 1987), 220. The total here for command tanks (Pz.Befelswagen) also includes other types of command vehicles (Pz.Funkwagen and Pz.Beobachtungswagen).

20. “Verbrauch an PzKpfWg: Totalverluste” (Generalinspekteur der Panzerwaffe), NARA RG 242, T-48, R-146, F 77218. These figures include losses in North Africa, which totaled 229 (42 PzKpfw II, 135 PzKpfw III, 34 PzKpfw IV, and 18 PzBefelsWg).

31. The starting point for German tank statistics — including monthly strength, loss, and production — are the tables that first appeared in the Foreign Military Study P-059 by Generalmajor Burkhart Müller-Hillebrand, German Tank Losses (U.S. Army, 1950). These were republished in his later multivolume study, Der Zweifrontkrieg: Das Heer vom Beginn des Feldzuges die Sowjetunion bis zum Kriegsende, Band III (Frankfurt: E. S. Mittler & Sohn, 1969).

33. Thomas Jentz, Panzertruppen Vol. 2 (Atglen, PA: Schiffer, 1996), 43, 110, 252.

37. “Svedeniya Glavrazvedupravleniya nachalniku shtaba BT i MV KA o proizvodstve tankov i gruzovykh avtomashin v Germanii v 1939–1942 goda,” 23 July 1943, in Polonskiy, GABTU Collection, Vol. III, 297.

17. Tank Equipment Situation of British Empire Forces, Dominions, Home Defence and Allies, 30th June 1942 PRO (Now National Archives), WO193/580.

15. Production, strength, and loss figures from Burkhart Müller-Hillebrand, German Tank Losses, Foreign Military Study P-059 (U.S. Army, 1950). Tank strength in Russia from Jentz, Panzertruppen Vol. 2, 110. Operational rates from “Einsatzbereite Pz u. Stu.Gesch. Ost.,” Gen. Qu. Insp.d.Panzertruppen, NARA II, RG 242, T-78, R-145, F 76020.

7. This chart is based on the Burkhart Müller-Hillebrand data for overall tank strength (Bestand) and deployed strength (Frontfähigen). The figures for the Russian Front come from reports by the Generalinspekteur der Panzertruppen; Russian Front deployed strength comes from the chart “Panzerbestand Ost, OKW, Heimat (28 December 1944), NARA RG 242, T-78, R145, F75865; and the operational strength comes from the chart “Einsatzbereite Pz. u. Stu.Gesch.-Ost-, NARA RG 242, T-78, R-145, F 75855-56. It should be noted that there are some anomalies when comparing the two Russian Front data lines, for example the December numbers where deployed strength exceeds operational strength. This is presumably due to differences in the data source (including or not including fringe types such as Befelspanzer) and/or discrepancies in the data dates (1 January 1944 versus 30 January 1944) that are not explained on the charts.

10. These numbers are derived from tables prepared by Gen. Maj. Hermann Burkhart Müller-Hillebrand and can be found in his book Das Heer 1933–1945. Entwicklung des organisatorischen Aufbaues. Band 3: Der Zweifrontenkrieg. Das Heer vom Gebinn des Feldzuges gegen die Sowjetunion bis zum Kriegsende, Band III (Frankfurt: E. S. Mittler & Sohn, 1969); and in his U.S. Army Foreign Military Studies report, P-059: Tank Losses, 1959.
